Don’t Forget – We are holding our first Cook Book Swap at The 100 Mile Market in Meaford, August 27-29/09:

Bring in your previously-loved cook books to our swap table and exchange for others!  We all have cookbooks we used to love but don’t take off the shelf any more – let them become someone else’s favourite.  Bring one – take one!  (or bring 10 – take 10!!)

This event will be held at The 100 Mile Market throughout our hours of business Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 27, 28, 29, 2009.  We will have a special table dedicated to displaying available cook books – dust them off and bring them in! Any leftover cook books will be donated to The Net Shed in support of the Meaford Public Library.  If you don’t have any books to swap you can make a donation to help the library.

Come in and have a sneak preview as some customers have donated some cookbooks to get us started – you can’t swap them until the 27th but you can certainly whet your appetite!!!

Fresh Organic Corn Sprouts!!! Tastes like corn on the cob but its sprouts for your salad or sandwich – a great tasting new twist to eating your greens.

Mapleton’s Organic Ice Cream Cakes – Starting with Lemon Berry – place an order for a special occasion or shop early for the few we will be carrying in-store. You know how delicious the ice cream is now you can WOW your guests with an organic ice cream cake!!!

And... Coming soon – Ontario grown peanuts! We will have dry roasted in-shell peanuts, unsalted & salted redskin peanuts, almond butter & cashew butter.
